Sometimes you may come across content online that is upsetting or disturbing. In New Zealand the most harmful content on the internet is categorised as illegal (called objectionable material)(external link). This can include videos, websites, and images that show:
- extreme violence or cruelty
- terrorism and violent extremism
- child sexual abuse, rape, or torture.
